Bennie's Long-Weekend Catch-up!

For those who weren't at last year's catch-up, a get together in a different location was suggested, and Armidale was chosen.

ACCOMMODATION - Three options:

NB:  Prices quoted are per person (not per night).

OPTION ONE:  SERVIES MOTEL

New, clean and in the centre of town, with just a short stroll to everything.

• 4 x Executive King Rooms (sleeps 4):  1 KB + 1 QB sofa (dining facilities, writing desk, tea/coffee, fridge, hairdryer, iron/ironing board).
• Bar and bistro that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (plus many other dinging options in town).
• Total price is $2,160 split by number of people. 
  Eg: 14 pax = $155 each, or 10 pax = $216 each.

OPTION TWO:  COTSWALD GARDENS

Well established motel, centrally located with a 10 minute walk into town.

• 5 x Twin Rooms (sleeps 3):  1 QB + 1 SB (basic hotel room).
• Restaurant Saturday nights only.
• Total price is $2,400 split by number of people. 
  Eg: 14 pax = $172 each, or 10 pax = $240 each.

OPTION THREE:  COTTAGES x 2

No large homes (10 pax plus) available in September/October this year (or next!!), but these cottages are available and are in close proximity of each other, with a 15-20 minute walk to each other, and only a 10 minute walk into town. 
Both cottages sleep 7 pax​ (1 SB + 2 QB + 1 DB + 2 BATH).

• Total price is $1,828 split by number of people. 
  ​Eg: 14 pax = $131 each, or 10 pax = $183 each.
• Deposit required at time of booking is 50%. 
• Balance payable a few weeks prior to the stay. 
• Free cancellation permitted up to early-September.

• Visit New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) for a bit'a cultcha!
• Armidale's best pub is the Whitebull - good grub as well.
• The Welder's Dog is also a great spot for a bevy. Not a bad pizza either, and you can even BYO a cheese platter!
