- Visit Uralla (20 minutes) has gorgeous shops, antiques, cafes, pubs and museum
- Visit Petersons Guest House for wine tasting and/or lunch (20 minutes)
- Visit New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) for a bit'a cultcha!
- Armidale's best pub is the Whitebull - good grub as well.
- The Welder's Dog is also a great spot for a bevy. Not a bad pizza either, and you can even BYO a cheese platter!
